Who We Are

                            Yahweh Shammah is a Bible-based, Christ-centered Christian Church dedicated to spreading the Gospel and nurturing a prophetic, holy, and soul-winning generation. Founded on June 16, 2019, in Dallas, Texas, by Prophet Joseph Kankolongo, our church is the result of divine revelations and God’s calling. Obedient to the will of God, Prophet Joseph established this ministry seven months after arriving in the United States.

Together with his wife, Lady Victoria Kankolongo, Prophet Joseph serves faithfully, bringing the message of salvation, healing, and deliverance to all who seek the presence of God.

Our Vision

 We are committed to raising up a Prophetic Generation (Amos 3:7), a Holy Generation (Leviticus 19:2), and a Soul-Winning Generation (Matthew 28:19).

 

Our Mission

                                  Our mission is to make disciples of Christ. We believe in three key principles:
✔ Faith in Christ – Everyone should believe in Jesus as their Savior.
✔ Spiritual Growth – Every believer should grow as a disciple of Christ.
✔ Kingdom Expansion – Every disciple is called to make more disciples.

 

Why "Yahweh Shammah"?

                                    The name Yahweh Shammah from Hebrew means “The Lord is Here” – a powerful reminder that God’s presence dwells among His people.

We are passionate about raising disciplined, trained, and equipped servants of God for the work of the ministry because grace does not eliminate the need for preparation. As Isaiah 61:1-2 declares:

"The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me: for the LORD has anointed me to bring good tidings to the poor; He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and deliverance to the prisoners; to proclaim the year of the favor of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn."
